This file will be used to advise weather conditions at St Albans from about a week before the Shahzada starts and during the Shahzada if there are abnormal weather conditions.
Tuesday 17th August 2010 - A fine pleasant winter day, no wind. .
Wednesday - 18 th August - Extensive frost and misty in the morning. The day was partly cloudy and it became quite hot in the afternoon. (No temperatures yet, can't find the thermometer). There have been a few spots of rain in the evening up to 10pm. (Not enough to settle the dust on the roads).
Thursday - 19th August - A little light rain overnight. Clear sky in the morning with a bit of mist, all gone by 8am. Bright sunny sky, no cloud, don't forget to bring sunblock. Very strong winds Thursday afternoon, easied off in the evening for a still, mild night.
Friday - 20 th August - A mild morning, temperature 18 degrees at midday, mildly gusty breeze, clear sky no cloud. Temperature peaked at 26 degrees.
Saturday - 21st August - Overnight temperature 1.7 degrees. At 8.45 am, 12 degrees, sunny with cloud in the west. Windy at times during the day, top temperature 17.7 degrees.
Sunday 22nd August 2010 - A pleasant day after the frost thawed, breeze was a bit cold in the morning, high temperature was 19.8 degrees.
Monday 23rd August - A misty, bleak and overcast day with light rain in the morning.
Tuesday 24th August - A clear sky in the morning which became very windy in the afternoon. The wind died down in the evening.
Wednesday 25th August - Another bright, sunny morning that became quite windy in the afternoon.
