2007 SHAHZADA
The PUBLIC ADDRESS SYSTEM AT ST ALBANS
Latest update 1510, 11/7/07.

The Public Address system at the 2007 Shahzada will cover the vetting area in Bulga St only with loud speakers. The Public Address will be broadcast on FM Radio in St Albans village on a frequency of 90.9 MHz (licence received from ACMA 11/7/07). This will allow camps to receive the public address on car radios or personal radios and set the volume control to an individually comfortable level. Don't forget to bring your personal radio so that you can hear the PA when you are away from your camp or at the shop or the beach in the river or walking up to the vetting area. You will need a supply of batteries to last for the whole week as well. The transmitter is licenced for 10 watts effective radiated power, so coverage improvement is expected for the personal receivers compared with last year when 1 watt was used.
